Disciple of Christ Ministries was started on the faith that we fellow Christian’s can use our God given gifts to make a positive change in a person’s life. I truly believe this as I am one of the lost souls that have been saved by grace through the teaching of the Word of God while being incarcerated.

Durring my incarceration I was introduced to a Bible Study led by a Christian named Jake, who for over the past decade been serving the Lord in prison ministry, by going inside the wall of the House of Correction every week for a 1½ hour study to teach the Word, giving those who were seeking Christ; words of encouragement, building their faith, understanding of the Gospel, and most of all fellowship. Letting them know that someone does care, and that is Christ, who has paid the price for our sins on the cross.

This to me was so important on my becoming born-again and gave me a greater need to search the Word of God so I could make the changes in my life to become a servant of God. So as Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you; for everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” I took this to heart and stepped up my studying by enrolling in thru the mail Bible Study correspondence programs, and reaching outside the wall of  the House of Correction for Christian support so once I was released I would have a strong Christian support team available to me.

Once I was released I was meet by a group of Christian Brothers, who had been praying for me over two years, these men did not know me personally however they were told my story, by the Christian I mention in the beginning Jake, who saw something in me. I am forever grateful that God placed Jake in my life, a true sign that God does still today work through people.

Paul tells us in his first letter to Timothy Here is a trust worthy saying that deserves full acceptance; Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – of whom I am the worst. However, for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

My faith in Christ has leaded me to start this ministry so we can glorify God in all things we do. God has placed this ministry upon my heart so we can reach out to everyone who is seeking salvation through Jesus Christ. I know we can make an impact on those who are seeking as I am a product of God craftsmanship.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:31-46; When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

That is how this ministry was started, and why we are so passionate in spreading the Gospel, to everyone we can; giving back what was so freely given to us, His love, grace, and mercy.

Please will you help support this Ministry.

Since the foundation of Disciple of Christ Ministries were laid in May 2012, we have taken a vision given to me while serving time myself, to now a thriving outreach ministry reaching across the country. We are doing this through Pen Pals for Jesus, our correspondence by mail Prison Ministry. Currently we are serving over 900 inmates across 42 states, matching them with Christian men and women volunteers who share hope and encouragement through letters of Christian support.

Disciple of Christ Ministries boldly goes into the darkest places to shine the Light of the Gospel for others to see! As we continue to grow in numbers, so does the cost of operating the ministry. With all the new mail restriction in place brought us to spend more to reach the inmates bringing a strain on our resources across the board. Leaving us to reach out to churches and organizations inviting them to join us in our efforts in building the Kingdom of God.

Any love gift amount would be used for the glory of God.

      We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization

 Thank you in advance

and may God bless you!
