Our Foundation
Disciple of Christ Ministries was founded with the belief that 1 person can make a positive change in those who are out there lost and living in the flesh. Our work is founded on the following five pillars of faith:
- A duty to reach out to the lost and forgotten
- An obligation to lead by example
- An all-inclusive approach: We help everyone regardless of their religious beliefs
- That the path to salvation lies in our Lord Jesus, serving him in everything we do.
- That Christ will use our testimonies for His glory so others can see how God has taken our trials and tribulation and turned them into victories for Christ

Who We Are
Disciple of Christ Ministries is a Christian organization that provides outreach and resources to people and families that have loved ones inside the walls of our prisons who are seeking a change in their lives through the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also have many other support systems to help all who have a will to make a positive change in their life.

What We Do
Disciple of Christ Ministries is working on reaching out to those who are lost, discouraged, and rejected whom are seeking a better life after spending time in prison, (physical or spiritual). By connecting Christian brothers and sisters, through our Pen Pals for Jesus Ministry while they are still inside our prison system or lost living in a dark place.
We have faith that this will give them the hope and faith to see that they are not forgotten, and the understanding that through Christ, they can become a new person.
We truly believe this also helps with building their faith in Christ and shows them the mercy, grace, and love Jesus has for all of us who seek him. Sharing our own testimonies of how Christ has worked in our own lives giving us new life.
What Keeps Us Going
Our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing that all things are possible thourgh Him!
Having seen the mercy and grace He has given to us while we were still living in the flesh so that we could show others the work He has done in our lives.

Since the foundation of Disciple of Christ Ministries were laid in May 2012, we have taken a vision given to me while serving time myself, to now a thriving outreach ministry reaching across the country. We are doing this through Pen Pals for Jesus, our correspondence by mail Prison Ministry. Currently we are serving over 900 inmates across 42 states, matching them with Christian men and women volunteers who share hope and encouragement through letters of Christian support.
Disciple of Christ Ministries boldly goes into the darkest places to shine the Light of the Gospel for others to see! As we continue to grow in numbers, so does the cost of operating the ministry. With all the new mail restriction in place brought us to spend more to reach the inmates bringing a strain on our resources across the board. Leaving us to reach out to churches and organizations inviting them to join us in our efforts in building the Kingdom of God.
