Sharing the Gospel of Jesus to the lost and forgotten inside our
jails and prisons since 2012
Answering the Call to Serve God's People no matter where they are located.
Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ where we live, work, and through prison ministry.
The three R's
The center of our ministry
Redemption: We believe that prisoners can be saved. Their crime does not disqualify them from salvation through
faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Rehabilitation: We believe that destructive behaviors and distorted mindsets can be changed for good.
Restoration: We believe that prisoners can excel and be contributing citizens with the right guidance and encouragement.
MANY LEVELS OF VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION
EVANGELISM We share our personal testimonies of how God has worked in our life and the impact it has had on
our relationships with Christ through newsletters, pen pals, and outside events. (No personal contact information is
shared with inmates in prison)
COMMUNITY We help develop communities of committed disciples of Jesus Christ, which have local and
world-wide impact. We develop cells or clusters in a region, church, or group of churches in taking ownership of
the ministry
OUTREACH-MENTORING We have a system in place to train folks in outreach-mentoring which assists and
helps reintegration for men and women out of prison seeking a new and better life after incarceration.
RESOURCES We work with local and state agencies, churches, and local businesses to assist in getting a person
their needed services they so desperately need, like clothing, food, medical services, and housing.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its verious forms.
(1 Peter 4:10 NIV)
Disciple of Christ Ministries sets the foundation for strong Christian values in your daily lives. We are dedicated to reaching out to all those who are seeking salvation through Jesus Christ. We are all about advancement of our own faith through God's Word, fellowship, and serving our Lord Jesus in all we do.
In addition to our community services, we organize Prison Pen Pals so we can help our brothers and sisters who have fallen into dark times, giving them hope, guidance and most of all our testimonies of faith showing them what Christ has done in our lives.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:31-41 (NKJV)
"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Since the foundation of Disciple of Christ Ministries were laid in May 2012, we have taken a vision given to me while serving time myself, to now a thriving outreach ministry reaching across the country. We are doing this through Pen Pals for Jesus, our correspondence by mail Prison Ministry. Currently we are serving over 525 inmates across 41 states, matching them with Christian men and women volunteers who share hope and encouragement through letters of Christian support.
Disciple of Christ Ministries boldly goes into the darkest places to shine the Light of the Gospel for others to see! In 2022, we saw a growth rate of 21%, bringing a strain on our resources across the board. Leaving us to reach out to churches and organizations inviting them to join us in our efforts in building the Kingdom of God.
Any love gift amount would be used for the glory of God.
We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization
